As in the last post, we are in the Monterey Aquarium admiring the Jellyfish exhibition. This is the second in a series of three jellyfish images of my favorites from there.
The gentle motions of this one were very relaxing and I got a nice cool feeling watching him/her (? )They do have genders, and wikipedia tells us that “In most cases, adults release sperm and eggs into the surrounding water, where the unprotected eggs are fertilized and develop into larvae.”
There is a delicate nature to this one with its translucence and its fine tentacles as it slowly moves through the water.
Unabashedly shameless plug, ignore if you so desire.
